Thank you to everyone who gave me suggestions yesterday in class. Multiple songs from the list where purchased and will be on the new playlist soon!

I'd like to continue honoring your suggestions but you need to submit them!

So far I'm going for a variety of Classic Rock, Modern Alternative, Underground and Old School Hip-Hop, Underground Electronic, Reggae, and various top artists.

Some artists in mind for the new playlist are: Slightly Stoopid, Sublime, Pink Floyd, System of a Down, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mad Conductor, Led Zepplin, Them Crooked Vultures, Muse, The Beatles, A Tribe Called "Quest", Wu-Tang Clan, MF DOOM, Murs, Bassnectar, Beastie Boys, Cypress Hill, Del the Funky Homosapien, Easy Star All-Stars, The Supervillains, The Expendables, Pepper, Fishbone, Flying Lotus, Gogol Bordello, Gorillaz, Hypnotic Brass Ensamble, The Mars Volta, Modest Mouse, Rage Against the Machine, Queens of the Stone Age, The Specials, Theivery Corporation, and MUCH MUCH MORE.

Your opinions matter so PLEASE respond to this with suggestions, or talk to me in class. The fewer suggestions I get, the more I'm going to have to take the buy into my own hands.

ok guys, its your Secrete-ery here, i need to start signing people up for our first promos! we all need to do station developement hours, (idk how many, like 40 or something), and i promise you promos are the easiest way to make the MOST hours!!!!!!! yay better grades, better station, more listeners!

So heres the deal. im gonna start lining up promotion spots at public places and parks around the tri valley area (dublin, pleasanton and Livermore). at these promos the Goal is to get Radiolaspositas.com's name out to the public and inform them about our kickass station.

people working promos must be knowlegeable about our station, music and events.

i would love to hear from EVERYONE with ideas where you would like to promote and when you can.

EVERYONE WILL BE WORKING PROMOS!!!!! I REPEAT, EVERYONE IN THIS CLASS WHO GIVES A SH*T WILL BE WORKING PROMOS!!!!! THEY ARE FUN AND A GREAT WAY TO TEAMBUUILD AND PROMOTE OUR STATION!!!SO TALK TO ME, RICKY B. IN CLASS SO I CAN SIGN YOU UP FOR A PROMO THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ATTEND!!!! I dont wanna seem like a Dick when i say i will schedule you no matter what, you should know promotions are super important to a radio station in this stage of its popularity. being on a Promotion are a great, easy way to get your foot in the door at any radio station! a BIG goal in this class is to learn skills in this awesome field, and promotions is HUGE HUGE HUGE in radio. Ive done ALOT of promos for 105 and i want to pass down all ive learned to you guys so you have a greater chance of working for the big guys!!!! lets all work together and have a bunch of fun!!!!!!

I would like to send out congratulations all the people who have joined the management team! It's really awesome to see so many people getting interested for this upcoming semester. I really hope we can use all of our resources and our enthusiasm to make this the best semester Radio Las Positas has ever seen!

Hello everybody

Radiolaspositas is moving from one side of the campus into a brand new facility/building. our last show was on May 28. we will be back on by the Fall semester. So, hang tight. Were going to have new shows and return DJ's Like The Spliff Show,the Kick Start show w/KC Kindness, and of course some new shows. So hang tight an well put more updates on the new station as they come. I heard a rumor the fences around the new building are coming down after the 4th of july weekend.
